DON JULIO POR AMOR: A LOVE LETTER TO MEXICO  


A global platform that promotes the brands Por Amor message and celebrates Mexico through an entirely new visual identity. Por Amor is not just an anthem, but an invitation to celebrate the modern spirit of a country that the brand calls home and to collaborate directly with people who live for love, just like the founder Don Julio González did. ‘A Love Letter to Mexico’ showcases this intense collaboration with a number of brilliant Mexican creatives, including JC Molina, Flavia Martinez, Carlos Eric Lopez, Nayeli De Alba, and Thalia Gochez, who brought their unique perspectives and experiences to the table.

This was shot solely in Mexico, capturing the country across various locations and landscapes, including Mexico City, Tulum, Atotonilco and the highlands of Jalisco, where Don Julio made his tequila. In this short film, and all the other assets, you see a precious glimpse of the many sides of Mexico that mainstream media doesn’t show.

The campaign rollout will be the biggest in the brand's history. It’s a new canvas for Diageo to further build and tell the story of Don Julio on a global scale with assets ranging from films, events, social, paid media and out-of-home.
